Aloo Samosa | Aalu Samosa Recipe

This Punjabi Aalu Samosa recipe or Aloo Matar Samosa recipe shows the perfect way to make Halwai-style crispy Aalu samosa at home. In India, people just love samosa. They are our go-to snacks. They are flaky, crunchy, and crispy stuffed potato snacks that are found on every street and corner in India. The Samosa tastes even better when the crust has that flaky and crunchy feeling and their stuffing should have the craving that people just shouldn’t be able to resist, and that comes from peas, mashed potatoes, and spices. With the video provided below and the step-by-step instructions with photos, you can make this Punjabi Aloo Samosa at home without any difficulty.

About Samosas

Samosa is loved by everyone and can be made in many ways that’s why there are so many varieties of Samosa made in India like Aloo Samosa, Chicken Samosa, Paneer Samosa, and Sweet Samosa. In this Aloo or Potato Samosa recipe, I’ve skipped onions and used peas. I’ve also made a new Samosa recipe where I showed how to make Samosa with Poha. While the normal texture and shape remain the same, the ingredients used to make Samosa may differ. The outer crispy layer is usually made with Maida (All-purpose flour) and the filling is usually made with mashed veggies and spices.
