Suji Potato Snacks Recipe Video
Ingredients to make Suji Potato Snacks Recipe
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 cup water
- 1 tsp red chilli flakes
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- salt to taste
- 1 cup semolina(suji)
- 2 boiled and grated potato
- 3-4 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- 1.5 cup oil for frying
How to make Suji potato bites recipe (Step-by-Step Instructions)
1. First, heat 2 tbsp oil in a kadhai/wok on high flame. After the oil is heated, change the flame to medium.
2. Add 1 tsp cumin, and 1 chopped onion. Roast till it becomes soft. Keep stirring or else it may burn.
3. Add 2 cups of water, 1 tsp red chilli flakes, 1/2 tsp black pepper powder, and salt to taste. Mix everything well.
4. Once the water is heated, add 1 cup semolina/rava. Mix well. The Rava/Sooji will absorb the water.
5. Once the rava absorbs the water and spices, add 2 grated potatoes and 3-4 tbsp chopped coriander leaves. Mix well.
6. Now, turn off the flame. Pour the mixture into a plate and spread it to let it cool down.
7. Grease your hands with oil and prepare a soft dough.
8. Prepare large rough ball-shaped rolls out of it.
9. Roll it and cut it into small pieces.
10. Heat 1.5 cup oil in a kadhai/wok at medium to high flame. Once the oil is heated, start adding the pieces.
11. Fry them until the color changes to golden brown on both sides.
12. Serve this crispy snack with tomato ketchup or green chutney.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

- Add cumin, onion. Roast till it becomes soft. Keep stirring.
- Add water, red chilli flakes, black pepper powder, salt to taste. Mix well
- Once the water is heated, add semolina/rava. Mix well.
- Add the grated potatoes and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well.
- Turn off the flame.
- Pour it in a plate and spread it to let it cool.
- Grease your hands with oil and prepare a soft dough. Prepare large balls.
- Roll it and cut into small pieces.
- Heat oil in a kadhai/wok at medium to high flame. Add a pinch of salt.
- Fry and serve with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
