Tandoori Paneer Tikka Dry Recipe on StoveTop Video
Dry Paneer Tikka Starter Ingredients
- 4 tbsp mustard oil
- 3 tbsp gram flour(besan)
- 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp kasuri methi
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- salt as per taste
- 1.5 tsp black pepper powder
- 1/2 cup curd
- 1 chopped capsicum
- 2 onion petals
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 200 gm Paneer
How to Make Paneer Tikka on Stovetop (Step-by-Step Instructions with Photos)
1) First, we will make the marination for Paneer tikka masala dry. Take 4 tbsp mustard oil in a kadhai. Heat on high flame.
2) Turn off the flame and let it cool slightly
3) Add 3 tbsp gram flour(besan). Mix it well with oil
4) Keep stirring and scrap the sides or it will burn. Once cooked, it will give off a nice smell.
5) Add 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder. It adds a nice color. Mix it well.
6) Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl.
7) Add the following spices –
1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp kasuri methi, 1 tsp chaat masala, salt to taste, and 1/2 tsp black pepper powder.
8) Add 1/2 cup curd and 1 tsp black pepper powder.
Mix Well. The masala for marinating paneer is ready.
9) Add 1 chopped capsicum, 2 onion petals, and 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste. Mix it well with the mixture.
10) Paneer Tikka Marination process. Add 200 gm Paneer. The Paneer is cut into cubes shape.
11) Mix the Paneer with the mixture using your hands so that it doesn’t break. Cover and keep it aside for 30 minutes.
12) After 30 minutes, remove the cover and mix it again for a few seconds.
13) Take BBQ sticks and add a capsicum piece, an onion piece, and a paneer piece.
Repeat the same process for all sticks.
14) Now, we will start cooking it on the gas. The gas flame should be high.
15) Keep rotating the sticks above the gas. Do not keep it in one place for more than a few seconds or it will burn.
16) Repeat the same process for other sticks as well. The Paneer Tikka is ready. Enjoy.
